After three days dedicated to design, industry, business and international networking, the Brazilian Furniture Project concluded its participation in La Feria de Diseño Medellín 2026 with a sense of accomplishment and confidence in the new paths now taking shape.
At Espaço Brasil, 19 pieces captured the diversity of materials, techniques, solutions and design languages shaping contemporary Brazilian furniture. Through the Trade Mission, 48 Brazilian companies took part in B2B meetings with 25 buyers representing nine international markets.
Across these two complementary initiatives, the project raised the visibility of Brazilian furniture, brought companies and buyers together, and created opportunities to develop partnerships, projects and new distribution channels.
An initiative of this scale is, of course, a collective effort. ABIMÓVEL and ApexBrasil thank the Brazilian companies for their trust and commitment to this agenda; the importers for their openness to dialogue and interest in Brazilian-made furniture; the architects, designers, specifiers, distributors, media professionals and other visitors who came to our booth; the organizers of La Feria de Diseño Medellín; and every team and professional involved in bringing this initiative to life.
With the trade show now concluded, a new phase begins: following up on the contacts established, developing the opportunities identified and turning initial conversations into lasting business relationships and partnerships.
The Brazilian Furniture Project continues to expand the global reach of Brazilian furniture, grounded in a distinctive identity, strong manufacturing capabilities and the ability to engage with diverse markets.
Until next time!
