Brazilian Furniture Project to Showcase National Suppliers at Tecno Mueble 2026 in Mexico

Through its Components, Machinery and Other Suppliers Vertical, the project is organizing Brazil’s participation in Guadalajara, a strategic market for the furniture supply chain and a key bridge between Latin America and North America

The next international initiative led by the Brazilian Furniture Project — an initiative of ABIMÓVEL (Brazilian Furniture Industry Association), in partnership with ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) — will take place in Guadalajara, Mexico. From August 19 to 22, eight Brazilian companies will exhibit at Tecno Mueble Internacional 2026, a trade show focused on supplies, raw materials, machinery, accessories, technology and solutions for the furniture and woodworking industries.

Brazil’s participation will be organized through the project’s Components, Machinery and Other Suppliers Vertical, bringing together the following companies:

The initiative reinforces the strategy of connecting Brazil’s furniture supply chain with manufacturers, distributors, importers and international buyers in an environment designed for industrial upgrading, business prospecting and the development of new partnerships.

Held at Expo Guadalajara, the Tecno Mueble fair is presented by its organizers as one of Latin America’s leading trade shows for supplies, raw materials and machinery for the furniture and woodworking sectors. The 2026 edition will feature more than 13,000 square meters of exhibition space and specialized pavilions dedicated to Supply, Machinery, Textile and International solutions, covering different stages of industrial production.

Mexico holds an important position in the internationalization agenda of Brazil’s furniture industry. From January to May 2026, Brazilian exports of components, machinery and other inputs for furniture manufacturing to the Mexican market totaled US$ 69.4 million, accounting for 4.7% of the segment’s total exports during the period.

With this result, Mexico ranked as the fifth-largest foreign destination for the vertical, behind only the United States, Argentina, Singapore and Chile. Compared with the same period in 2025, when shipments to Mexico reached US$ 56.4 million, exports grew by approximately 23%.

The trade relationship is also reflected in finished furniture and mattresses. Between January and May 2026, Mexico was the eighth-largest destination for Brazilian exports in this segment, with US$ 10.5 million in sales and a 3.7% share of Brazil’s total shipments. The figures show that the Mexican market continues to generate demand both for finished products and for industrial solutions connected to furniture manufacturing.

Beyond trade performance, Mexico is strategically important because of its economic and geographic position. The country combines a strong presence in Latin America with deep integration into North American production chains, particularly through its industrial and commercial ties with the United States and Canada. For Brazilian suppliers, this expands the scope of the initiative: exhibiting in Guadalajara means accessing not only a relevant consumer market, but also an industrial platform connected to regionalization, productive modernization and the reorganization of supply chains across the Americas.

In this context, Brazil’s participation in Tecno Mueble 2026 strengthens Brazilian Furniture’s role in promoting the international presence of the country’s furniture supply chain. It also broadens opportunities for Brazilian companies in strategic markets at a time when global business is increasingly shaped by competitiveness, regional integration and industrial delivery capacity.
