Organized by ABIMÓVEL and ApexBrasil, companies associated with the Brazilian Furniture Project will participate as exhibitors at iSaloni 2023
The wait is over! Meet the Brazilian companies that are embarking with the Brazilian Furniture Project — organized by ABIMÓVEL (The Brazilian Furniture Manufacturers Association) and ApexBrasil (The Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments) — to Milan, Italy, to showcase the best in terms of raw materials, techniques, quality, technology, sustainability, and design integrated into the national furniture industry at the 61st Salone del Mobile.Milano, the largest event dedicated to the sector in the world, that takes place April 18-23.
Embracing the theme of inclusion, which will permeate all aspects of the fair this year, a series of changes were announced, both in the structure of the Salone and the biennial lighting exhibition, Euroluce.
One of the highlights is that for the first time, the stands will be arranged on a single level, that is, only on the first floor. This means that there will be no exhibitors in the upper halls of the fairgrounds. According to the organizers, this facilitates access and circulation for all visitors.
Considering the new exhibition format in 2023, Brazilian furniture will be strategically displayed in three different pavilions of the fair. Check it out:
In addition, ABIMÓVEL and ApexBrasil will also organize a special lounge to showcase the Brazilian industry and design, as well as to promote business and networking between the national brands and international buyers, coming from the most diverse countries around the globe.
Through Design Brazil + Industry, a program that is part of the scope of the Brazilian Furniture Project, dozens of Brazilian manufacturers and designers will also have their collaboratively developed pieces showcased in Milan, highlighting the role of design as a transdisciplinary and structuring tool for increasing the competitiveness of the furniture industries.
Exploring different “worlds”, as the side events are called by the iSaloni organization, besides the traditional Salone del Mobile exhibition and the return of Euroluce, the program also features the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition, Workplace3.0, S.Project, and SaloneSatellite. “There is something for everyone, bringing together more than 1960 exhibitors, some 550 young talents under the age of 35, and 27 design schools from around the world!”, emphasizes fair president Maria Porro.
Cândida Cervieri, executive director of ABIMÓVEL, emphasizes the importance of the Brazilian brands being present at the event: “This is a very important opportunity to showcase the creative, productive, technological, and innovative potential of the furniture industry and design from Brazil to the world. We are excited and working proactively to promote our brands and strengthen ties with the global market at the event, which is the largest showcase of the sector in the world. Together with ApexBrasil and our associates, we hope for another great exhibition, with a lot of knowledge exchange and good business.”
