11th ForMóbile to Host Business Rounds with Buyers from Multiple Countries in Partnership with ABIMÓVEL and ApexBrasil

Through the Brazilian Furniture Project, international buyers will come to Brazil to connect with national manufacturers and suppliers, strengthening the presence of the Brazilian furniture industry in strategic markets

ForMóbile 2026, the International Furniture and Wood Industry Trade Fair, is expanding its role as a global business platform by hosting a series of international business rounds promoted by the Brazilian Furniture Industry Association (ABIMÓVEL), in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil).

The initiative is part of the Brazilian Furniture Project and reinforces the internationalization strategy of Brazil’s furniture production chain by connecting national companies with qualified buyers from different markets. The business rounds will be organized across two main tracks — supplies and furniture — bringing together both suppliers to the furniture industry and manufacturers of finished furniture.

Held through the Buyer Project, the meetings will take place from June 30 to July 2 at São Paulo Expo, during ForMóbile 2026, which runs through July 3. In total, around 60 Brazilian companies will take part in the initiative, engaging with buyers from approximately 20 countries across Latin America, North America, Africa and Europe.

A Buyer Project for the Entire Furniture Production Chain

The ForMóbile 2026 Buyer Project — Suppliers Track, taking place on July 1 and 2, will connect Brazilian companies specializing in components, inputs, hardware, machinery and manufacturing solutions with international importers.

A second business track, the ForMóbile 2026 Buyer Project — Furniture Manufacturers Track, scheduled for June 30 and July 1, will focus on finished furniture manufacturers, giving Brazilian brands the opportunity to present their products and designs directly to foreign buyers within the trade fair environment.

By bringing together different company profiles and international buyers in a single setting, the initiative expands the fair’s commercial reach and highlights the complementarity of Brazil’s furniture production chain — from suppliers and industrial solutions to finished products. In addition to creating new export opportunities, the Buyer Project helps position Brazil as a competitive, diverse and strategic hub for the global furniture industry.

“The Brazilian furniture industry has scale, production quality, a broad range of materials and the ability to adapt to the needs of different international markets. By bringing foreign buyers into a strategic trade fair such as ForMóbile, we are bringing these markets closer to Brazil’s industrial reality and creating a favorable environment for business, relationship-building and long-term partnerships.”
Irineu Munhoz President of ABIMÓVEL

The business rounds are expected to be one of the key differentiators of ForMóbile’s 2026 edition. The fair is significantly expanding its international business agenda, incorporating new initiatives aimed at connecting Brazilian companies with foreign buyers and strengthening its position as a platform for global business generation.

“Internationalization is one of the pillars for the sustainable development of the Brazilian furniture industry. The partnership between ForMóbile, ABIMÓVEL and ApexBrasil reinforces the fair’s role as an internationalization platform for the sector. By bringing international buyers and Brazilian companies together in the same environment, we create concrete opportunities to expand exports, generate new business and strengthen the competitiveness of Brazilian industry."
Tatiano Segalin Business Manager at ForMóbile

Through relationship-building, trade promotion and market intelligence initiatives, the agenda reinforces the role of ABIMÓVEL and ApexBrasil in increasing the international visibility of Brazil’s furniture industry. More than connecting supply and demand, the business rounds help position Brazil as a competitive partner for markets seeking design, innovation, production diversity and industrial capacity.
