One of the highlights of Espaço Brasil, located in Pavilion 03 at Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026, the initiative is part of the Brazilian Furniture Project, which brings more than 70 brands, creative professionals, and emerging talents to the fair
From April 21 to 26, 2026, Brazil returns to Salone del Mobile.Milano with a structured presence designed to present not only products, but also the processes, stories, solutions, and encounters that shape contemporary Brazilian furniture. Among the highlights of this agenda is the Design + Industry Showcase, one of the three pillars of Brazil’s participation organized by the Brazilian Furniture Project.
Led by ABIMÓVEL (Brazilian Furniture Industry Association) in partnership with ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), the Design + Industry program is an initiative focused on thinking, creation, and production, positioning design as a strategic language and a structuring force for the furniture industry. The initiative provides a platform for bringing together manufacturers and creative professionals from different regions, company sizes, and areas of expertise across the country, fostering collaborations aimed at the development of new products and collections.
Located in Pavilion 03, alongside Espaço Brasil, the showcase presents pieces developed through these partnerships and makes visible what happens when different capabilities, repertoires, and forms of knowledge enter into dialogue: new materials, revisited techniques, varied production systems, design perspectives, regional habits, and local expertise intersect to give shape to furniture and objects that tell stories and create value.
More than presenting final results, the Design + Industry Showcase reveals the importance of convergence between creativity and production, research and market, identity and innovation, offering new interpretations of contemporary living and projecting a sensitive, plural, and globally connected design language.
For ABIMÓVEL, the initiative reflects an important movement in today’s furniture sector: the increasingly mature articulation between industry and design. This circulation of techniques and experiences translates the theme “Connections” by bringing together, from North to South, different cultural matrices, production capabilities, ways of living, and expressions of Brazilian identity.
Thus, by connecting creation and production, the showcase demonstrates how furniture can carry origin, technique, and market relevance within a single piece, expanding the perception of Brazil’s ability to transform cultural repertoire and industrial expertise into a qualified international presence.

Brazil at iSaloni 2026
As the main event of Milan Design Week in Italy, Brazil’s participation at iSaloni 2026 is structured around three complementary fronts: the Brazilian Brands and Products Expo, the Design + Industry Showcase, and the Exhibition of Winning and Recognized Pieces from the 1st Brazilian Furniture Design Award. Together, these initiatives activate commercial, editorial, institutional, and curatorial dialogues involving specialized press, buyers, architects, distributors, opinion leaders, and other players in the global value chain.
