Brazilian Suppliers to Exhibit at Tecno Mueble 2025 in Mexico

Brazilian Furniture Project brings 12 companies to Guadalajara, strengthening the presence of Brazil’s components, machinery, and supply companies in the region

From August 13 to 16, 12 Brazilian companies from the furniture production supply chain will be exhibiting in Guadalajara, Mexico, during Tecno Mueble Internacional 2025 — one of the leading trade fairs in the Americas focused on supplies, raw materials, and technologies for the furniture and wood industries.

The participation is organized by ABIMÓVEL (Brazilian Furniture Manufacturers Association), in partnership with ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), through the Components, Machinery, and Suppliers Vertical of the Brazilian Furniture Project. The goal is to expand Brazil’s presence in strategic markets and reinforce the country’s position as a provider of complete industrial solutions — from raw materials to machinery — for the global furniture sector.

Mexico as a target market

The decision to exhibit in Mexico is based on the country’s strategic role in the global supply chain and its relevance within both North and Latin America. In addition to maintaining strong trade ties with the United States, Mexico has steadily increased its industrial investments and its demand for inputs, equipment, and technologies for furniture manufacturing.

This year’s participation in Tecno Mueble also comes amid heightened attention to trade relations with the U.S., following the recent announcement of 50% tariffs on a broad list of Brazilian exports. In this context, Brazil’s organized presence at the fair contributes to market diversification and the strengthening of regional partnerships, helping reduce vulnerabilities and open new avenues for the industry’s international engagement.

“This is a technical, commercial, and strategic initiative that highlights the productivity and quality of the Brazilian furniture supply industry in a market that is highly relevant to the sector,” says Irineu Munhoz, President of ABIMÓVEL. “Brazil has the expertise and capacity to offer not only finished furniture but also complete industrial solutions tailored for Mexico and neighboring countries. Through this new vertical of the Brazilian Furniture Project, we are able to showcase this strength in a coordinated way, creating new opportunities for the industry as a whole.”

Brazilian Industry on Display

Twelve Brazilian companies will be featured in a dedicated institutional booth at Tecno Mueble Internacional 2025, with full support for branding, market engagement, and promotion.

The Brazilian Furniture Project’s 2025/2026 international calendar also includes trade fair participation and promotional activities across North and South America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

Brazilian Furniture Project

The Brazilian Furniture Project is a sectoral initiative by ABIMÓVEL in partnership with ApexBrasil. Its goal is to expand the international presence of Brazil’s furniture industry through a strategic set of actions grounded in sustainability, competitiveness, and design integration. Currently, around 175 companies are engaged in the project.

In 2024, Brazil ranked as the sixth-largest furniture and mattress producer in the world and the 26th largest exporter, generating over US$ 763.02 million in revenue from finished products — a 3.8% increase compared to 2023. Including parts for furniture manufacturing, the total reached US$ 870.20 million.

In this new cycle (2025–2026), the organizers invite suppliers and component producers to join the project, further amplifying the reach of Brazilian furniture and reinforcing the global competitiveness of the “Brazil” brand.
