IT’S COMING: 21 Brazilian companies take part in the fall edition of High Point Market 2023, in the USA

An initiative led by ABIMÓVEL (The Brazilian Furniture Manufacturers Association) in partnership with ApexBrasil (The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), the Brazilian Furniture Project is getting ready for the fall edition of High Point Market 2023, which starts this Saturday (14) and runs until next Wednesday (18), in the city of High Point, in the United States. A total of 21 Brazilian companies are taking part in the event, which includes both the exhibition of national brands and products at exclusive stands at the fair and business roundtables.

It’s worth mentioning that the North American country is the main importer of Brazilian furniture, holding 31.7% of all products exported by Brazilian furniture brands in the first half of this year.

Aware of the region’s potential as well as of the relevance of the event, which traditionally also attracts visitors from 100 other countries, the Trade Mission participants will have the chance to strengthen networking, do business, and establish partnerships directly with qualified international buyers through face-to-face business rounds strategically organized by the Brazilian Furniture Project team.

In addition, 10 of these companies will also be exhibiting during the fair, at exclusive booths designed to highlight the physical and visual differentials of Brazilian furniture, produced using techniques, raw materials, styles, and unique processes that make the country’s furniture industry a benchmark for quality, sustainability, creativity and design.

“The High Point Market is not only a strategic bridge connecting the Brazilian furniture industry with North American buyers, but also a platform for boosting new markets, which will have the chance to see the results of the efforts and investments made by Brazilian brands in innovation, quality, design, sustainability management and the standardization of our products in synergy with the main global criteria and demands”, says the executive director of ABIMÓVEL and manager of Brazilian Furniture, Cândida Cervieri.

“We are excited about our participation in another edition of High Point Market. The last time we took part in the fair, in 2021, the time was still delicate due to the Covid-19 pandemic, yet we were successful with long-lasting business partnerships. Now, given the current scenario, our expectation for this Fall 2023 edition is that Brazilian companies will do even more substantial business and reach a greater number of international buyers”, once again points out ABIMÓVEL’s executive director.

“The partnership between ABIMÓVEL and ApexBrasil is an important tool in strengthening the presence of Brazilian furniture on the international market. Quality, creativity, and a commitment to sustainability define our industry, and the fair at High Point is an essential showcase to show the world what Brazil has to offer”, adds the project manager at ApexBrasil, Clarissa Franco.
