About the Brazilian Furniture Project agenda in New York this year:

ABIMÓVEL – The Brazilian Furniture Manufacturers Association has been operating for over three decades with the commitment to defend and strengthen the furniture sector and the Brazilian industry. In partnership with Apex-Brasil – The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency, they lead the Brazilian Furniture Project, aiming to promote the competitiveness of Brazilian furniture and design in the international market through strategic actions, such as trade missions and the participation in major events in the sector.

This year, with the support of the General Consulate of Brazil in New York, in the United States, the entities organized the participation of three Brazilian companies associated with the project at ICFF, the most important event in the contemporary furniture field in North America. They are: Ornare, Uultis and Tidelli.

In addition to the fair, the entities were also responsible for holding the “Espaço Brasil in NY”, an exclusive exhibition that occupied an area of 200 m² in SoHo, a famous New York design district. A success among the press, specifiers and North American buyers, the event brought together more than 40 pieces from 20 Brazilian brands and several designers linked to Brasil Design + Indústria, an Integrated Industry Design Program that makes up the scope of the project.

Proof of this success is that all the products exhibited there were sold out and many others were also negotiated through business roundtables between Brazilian companies and buyers from the United States and Canada, as well as other countries in North and Central America, further strengthening the relationship between the Brazilian furniture businesses and these important target markets for the Brazilian Furniture Project.
