19 companies associated with the Brazilian Furniture Project participate in a trade mission at High Point Market 2021, in the USA

Another step towards the international insertion of the Brazilian furniture industry and design, the Brazilian Furniture Project arrives this weekend in the United States, taking 19 companies to the High Point Market, one of the largest fairs in the world furniture calendar, which takes place on the 16th to October 20th, 2021. Among the Brazilian brands associated with the project, 11 will be exhibiting at the event and eight will participate in business roundtables in a hybrid format, that is, with physical and virtual meetings.

Bringing together more than 2,000 manufacturers in different strategically placed showrooms and exhibition spaces in downtown High Point, NC, the event traditionally attracts tens of thousands of retail furniture buyers, interior designers, architects and other actors of the global furniture industry.

For ABIMÓVEL – The Brazilian Furniture Manufacturers Association, the organizing entity of the Brazilian Furniture Project together with Apex-Brasil – the Brazilian Trade and Export Promotion Agency, participating in this moment of resumption of trade fairs around the world con

firms the Brazilian furniture industry position in the role of forerunner and relevance, in synergy with the largest furniture markets in the world.

Which is confirmed by the success achieved in the special edition of the Milan Design Week in 2021, with Brazilian companies gaining the attention of buyers, journalists and trendsetters from around the world.

An exhibition of products and ideas

The return of the fall edition of High Point Market, after a long period of restrictions on physical events due to Covid-19, becomes a milestone not only for the events sector, but also for the rediscovery of trends, styles, material, paths and solutions in furniture and decoration items, as well as new ways to produce and to sell in these sectors.

That’s because, in addition to the exhibitions, the event is consolidated as an interactive hub, where not only finished products, but also the latest insights into how residential, corporate, outdoor furniture, among others, can be designed, created, manufactured, sold and delivered are placed on the agenda.
